Lina & Dan Popek · “Asturias” for Piano

Amazingly talented brother and sister Dan (age 17) and Lina Popek (age 14) perform a version of Isaac Albeniz’s “Asturias”. The arrangement was written by Boogie master pianist Joja Wendt. In case you are interested, I have included a video of the piece as originally written for classical guitar for you to compare to the piano arrangement above. Italian composer/pianist Ludovico Einaudi is something of a sensation in Europe, especially in The UK, where his music is featured on Classic FM. He has composed scores for movies and commercials in addition to his many CD’s. Here he is in a live performance in London with a group of strings for a full orchestral sound.
